[HachiRoku] High Score Girl (Complete) (BD 1080p Hi10 FLAC) | Hi Score Girl

Description

Track Source
Video [Seicher-Raws]
Audio Track 1 [SonicBoom] (Japanese 2.0 FLAC 24-bit)
Subtitle Track 1 Full Subtitles [SonicBoom] (eng)
Chapters [Seicher-Raws]

A sub-only mux featuring encodes sourced from Seicher-Raws and SonicBoom subtitles. One track has been modified to correct some errors. Initially, I was going to QC the entire thing, but I gave up because I lost interest in the show. I'll eventually finish at least the first season, so expect a v2 when that happens if any errors are corrected. For now, this is the best possible release. Decided to source the audio from SonicBoom as it featured 24-bit tracks over the 16-bit tracks from Seicher-Raws. I archly doubt anyone can differentiate between the two, but why not include the best available sources? Now seeding with 10Gbit bandwidth.

Update: Decided not to fix it, since Arid and hchcsen are already working on it and it would be a waste of my time. I'll focus on other projects. In the meantime, you can get this broken release as a temporary placeholder.

They are this large because the karaoke is hell
Also use better forks because all recent ones can open >100mb files now (AegiDC for example)

@matheousse, no Mac version on the fork you mentioned.

@Interruptor, yes, for higher quality.

@hchcsen, did not notice anything like that when viewing. Please give me some specific timestamps so I can fix it. I don't know how to TS, but would snapping lines to keyframes fix the latter?

no the fix is to go in and fix the frametimings by hand since the difference in frame rate between the 2 video sources breaks basically every sign

Thanks, herkz. I will try installing that.

@hchcsen, all signs were working fine when viewing. No idea what you're talking about. Most signs are on the 23fps part. And the 60fps signs were working fine, too.

Well, unless I've been missing some unknown secret, anything with an outline can't be blurred otherwise it will look similar to the dialogue styling. The only other way you could probably get blur is to have an outline that's actually just a separate text line, but wider, and add blur to both. However, I don't think it ever truly gives the blur look though, idrk.

yes, that's pretty much exactly how it works and how people have been typesetting since like 2013 at least.

As hchcsen said, a straight mux doesn't work at all for this, pretty much every single sign needs to be retimed (not just shifted), and dialogue needs to be at least snapped to keyframes. Arid released episode 1 of this which he spent a bunch of time on, although it's deleted now for some reason, probably still had issues. Either way, this release is gonna be pretty shit since you didn't actually fix any of that.

And simplistic, yes that's essentially how typesetting has been done for a long time, although not with bigger text, but layers of text with borders and without borders

Every episode needs edits like that as arid also showed
I have only finished 7 episodes for my own release currently

hchcsen has been working on the show on his own so I don't think you'll be getting that sent to you, and I provided you with a timestamp so I think you can look for yourself instead of asking me to tell you
but just so you know, the sign stops two frames early
whenever I get back to working on the show I'm going to make changes to the script since I wasn't satisfied with what I looked at but until then or hchcsen releasing something I wouldn't download this

Sneedex prioritizes video over subs. It was made according to their specifications. And, their release should still have missing signs, since it's the same subs. It just has correct motion tracking.

all the signs work properly in the sonicboom release, what you don't understand is that all of these issues come from this mux only as everything in the imgur link is a result of not adjusting the TS to account for VFR (i.e. retiming them), all those signs do exist, but again you would know that if you checked for yourself

@hchcsen, if it needs to choose, best release gets video and alternate gets subs.

@Arid, I really don't feel like retiming all the signs, so whenever your or hchcsen's release is up, I'll link to whichever is better.

although not with bigger text, but layers of text with borders and without borders

Yeah, that's what I actually meant.

i guess hachirokunisankyu is a troll. possibly controlled opposition to try and undermine flac chads. i will not be taking them seriously from this point forward.
