NEON GENESIS EVANGELION: STANDARD EDITION

Please note that the UKBD is the exact same as the USBD and AUBD in terms of content.

This release contains the STANDARD EDITION of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" released Anime Limited/GKIDS in November 2021. This does not include the ADV/Manga Dub and Classic Subtitled Versions featured on the Ultimate and Collector’s Edition, and only includes the "Official" VSI/Netflix Dub with the official translation by Dan Kanemitsu. As this is a direct rip of the original BD with no alterations, this does not include Fly Me to the Moon in any capacity.

Odds that baws finishes in the next year or at all are slim; it's far too much work for one person to do in any reasonable amount of time

certainly the worst version of evangelion that they released, I didn't buy it because I was discouraged, I only came for disc 5 thanks for the upload xd

If this kind of stuff isn't "re-encoded" to make the file size smaller and add unnecessary processing and other simular bullshit it's just a matter of editing the subtitles and multiplexing the m2ts files and BOOM-you're done and finished.

@zrdb I can't say anything for Baws' release other than I believe his plan was to use a modified script for the TV Series + EOE which would obviously take a long time for a single person to do. The SoM release will use official translations of the series.

I'm busy for the next few months but after September I'm gonna get to work fiddling about with my own translation sheet too, I'll make sure to update you folks if I come up with any significant contribution. Probably won't put any results into a video release myself though 'cause I don't want to confuse people with extra plurality if there's already 2 major Eva release projects going already now, I'll just feed any results into yours. Newest filtering on episode 16 looks ace too.

Does the Collector's edition include ADV dub and Fly Me to the Moon? If yes, please do it! I need it because in the Remux the audio was dithered.

@HachiRokuNiSanKyu The Collector's Edition does include the ADV Platinum Dub (minus the OA Episodes of course), but does not include Fly Me to the Moon. I'll see if I can potentially upload just the ADV Audio + Classic Subtitles in a separate torrent at some point, but if you need anything else feel free to DM me on Discord (HRSM#1702).
