Plot Summary: Niwa Daisuke is your average teenager, until his fourteenth birthday. He tries to declare his love to the girl of his dreams, but fails. Suddenly, whenever he thinks about this girl he turns into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy. Daisuke's mother, very much aware of this, makes him turn into Dark and steal valuable works of art for a purpose unkown to Daisuke. As the story unfolds, he learns why, and about his classmate who seems to have the same ability.

Checked for the earliest date of submission out of curiosity--expected a whole lotta wait and not much info--then 2 secs later the page one of torrents appears and this is the first anime listed, from June 22, 2008 with 3 seeders! One of these must be the above PureDeletionRyuu :-). So thank you @PDR, and a long overdue Happy Birthday, Nyaa -- thank you for all you do, have done and hopefully will continue to do far into the future.

this torrent's listed first and all and i guess that counts for something, but when you sort by oldest the next couple of entries following this one also have the exact same date and time of release, and by couple i mean at least 7500. so one could say this one's tied for first with 7500+ other files.

@Enderp True, but sorting by "date" actually sorts by torrent ID. So in reality, this IS the oldest torrent.

My seed ratio for this torrent is 5.12:1 and I've been seeding for 41 days. Can't wait to make the ratio at least 20:1 :)

It's not the first torrent on nyaa. As I remember, they were working since ~2006, but in 2008 they suddenly their database.

You can take a look at the wayback machine. The db was "reset", however this is still the oldest torrent still on the site. The capture for this id (15) is missing, but you can look at the next one, gantz and see that the original upload date was in 2006.
