Information:

Agent AIKa and R-16 got deinterlaced and encoded to 10bit HEVC (crf-19.5, slow || crf-17, slow).
AIKa Zero was encoded to 10bit HEVC. (crf-19.5)

The Audio Situation:

TL;DR:
Keyframes suck -> at the start of an episode you may hear one or two seconds of the last episode's outro. (depending on your video player)

Long-Explaination:
Due to the nature of DVDs, the company basically ended up connecting all episodes and splitting them up into 1GB files.
This isn't a big problem for the video, since I had to encode it to get rid of the interlacing,-
but for the audio it's different. If you aren't aware, lossless audio encoding/editing only works with lossless files and the DVD's only had AC-3.
To keep the audio quality and not re-encode to lossy, I had to split up the episodes's audio based on keyframes (no re-encoding).
These keyframes are pretty far apart and inconsistent -> at the start of some episodes you may hear a few seconds of the last episode's outro.
Not the case with mpv.

Everything above is wrong. Ffmpeg which I use, has this exact problem when cutting audio while also processing the accompanying video track, but not when you edit the audio separately. Don't believe everything thats written on the internet. There are literally guides' spreading this misinformation.

I will not be creating a v2 just because of this. Use mpv.

I highly suggest you to use mpv for playback. (doesn't show vertical green line, like in vlc)

Summary:

• attached fonts
• created chapters
• removed interlacing (for DVDs)
• copied the audio tracks (S1,S2)
• encoded PCM to Opus of Season 3
• OP's and ED's from S2 and S3 got subs
• styling has been re-done on every single episode
• encoded the video tracks to HEVC (libx265, 10bit)
• AIKa R-16:
  • PGS got ocr'd and heavily retimed + styling added
• naming scheme matches TheTVDB.com (for plex/sonarr/radarr/emby/jellyfin/kodi compatibility)

Special Trial is single audio.
