[LBA] = "Low Bandwidth Anime" using Subsplease source
Continuing my previous efforts from [QCE] but with faster internet this time (full episode in ~30 seconds, unless you can't dl that fast)
I do x264 AAC 720p re-encodes at small file sizes for those with bandwidth limits, now with English hardsubs in mp4 format. The goal is to be one of the smallest file sizes but maintain quality levels decent enough that an average viewer won’t notice. Feel free to compare it with another 720p and let me know what you think
I won't be doing all shows, but might consider taking requests on discord depending on how busy I am

Its easily possible to get same quality levels at smaller file sizes as long as the settings are good and time is taken to encode. It seems that just about everyone has forgotten there was an unspoken size standard between everyone sharing Anime. 480p/150mb-200mb(175mb avg) | 720p/325mb | 375mb(350mb avg) |1080p/500mb-650mb(600mb avg).
The purpose was centered on storing 12-13eps of 720p @350MB per 4.7GB DVD-Rom disc.
In an age where DVD's are relatively obsolete, I fail the see the relevance. If anything, I'd argue that using a standard size for every episode is foolish; I don't think anyone who knows what they're doing will say that a fast-paced action scene should use the same bitrate as a conversation scene that's mostly still frames
