Description

After more than a three year gap, here is Alice in Cyberland, complete at last. The first episode is the previously-released laserdisc rip; it is unchanged. The second episode is from a YouTube video of the complete TV special. We carved out an "episode 2" raw - OP, episode, ED - because the video is nowhere as good as the laserdisc rip of episode 1. For more details, see this blog entry.

Late breaking news: Kabbu pointed out, correctly, that I chose the wrong "cut point" for the start of episode 2. There's about a minute of redundant material. That's what I get for not watching episode 1 again. Here's a patch that uses ordered chapters to cut out the redundant material, the sponsor screens, and the eyecatch, none of which would have been included in a home video release.

Out of curiousity, what's the reason you included the episode 1 segment from 22:07 to 23:06 in episode 2 from 1:44 to 2:45 again?

@Kabbu - um, editing mistake by the guy who assembled the raw? Deliberate recap in the second half to fill out the running time? No idea.

@Kabbu - actually, an editing mistake in the video. I'll do a v2 that uses ordered chapters to edit out the extra material and post a patch here. Grr... Patch posted in description.

I thought that sequence was just a recap, a summery of what happened in episode 1, before the second episode commences for real. Since I guess, in 1996 they didn't really watch the second episode directly after the first, but rather quite some time later.
