Did the remaster fix the extreme camera shake the original movie had?
Also sxales encodes aren't good. Maybe BDRemux would have been better.

It's still pretty bad sadly. It might be slightly improved? Hard to tell tbh.
The remaster is very much a sidegrade more than an upgrade.

Just saw there is another encode of it. Not sure why I chose sxales last year.
Might make a v2 with BLOAT instead, but the remux already has the official PGS subs I'm pretty sure so there's no real need for me to mux subs onto it.

You should have just used Yurei's encode of the original JPBD, it's pretty good, but this encode ( https://nyaa.si/view/386265 ) is the best on the site. It's either that one or the Dogway release. Also, the more recent USBD is de-grained/de-noised, but CBM's encode for this one is pretty good. https://nyaa.si/view/1255292

I personally prefer the newer USBD to the JPBD ever so slightly. Which is the whole reason why I made this.
Also the releases you linked are for Tokyo Godfathers. For that I'd personally just go with Commie. The encode's good enough.

I made a huge oops there. I was half asleep when I made that post and apparently thought I was on a torrent for Tokyo Godfathers. I started off on the right track mentioning Yurei, but I meant to bring up THORA's old 720p encode of Perfect Blue along with Dogway's release. lol

I'll probably just make another mux with BLOAT for the video and Yūrei for the subs. Really not sure why I didn't in the first place.
Yūrei already exists for those that want an encode of the old Blu-ray plus official subtitles so there's not really a need for me to make a mux of that.
