I am very often asked "when is Re Zero 2 part 2". Therefore, I decided to release the revision of the first part of the second season separately, and not together with the second part, as originally planned. (It will also be released soon).
The Rev version includes improved AA for Line Art across all series, as well as a completely overhauled approach to x265 compression. Episode 4 now looks less blurry than the old version. The rest of the episodes also underwent changes, but less significant. Basically it is better preservation of details and improved textures. Examples of fixes you can appreciate in this screenshot comparison.

I suppressed this banding as thoroughly as possible.
