There will probably be some jokesters in the comments saying stuff like, "What the hell is this abomination," or, "What exactly is the point of making an unofficial movie version...?" Ignore them, especially the Great Satan, herkz. This release is official as hell. It's officially official. I will not be taking any further questions at this time.

EDIT: As to what was specifically changed: all but one OP/ED were cut, all but one episode title splash screen was cut. Some frames were cut for shots that appeared before an op/ed to keep them from "hanging", but the cuts were never longer than one second.

P.S for those wondering, hanamonogatari was originally released as a TV special film instead of being a part of mono S2. and later on turned into separate episodes in the home release.

Does this have any extra content or is it just the episodes bundled together? Otherwise, I'd rather keep my Commie release since I quite enjoy watching the openings and endings on each episode.

Nekomonogatari (Black), Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari, and Owarimonogatari S2 were released on TV and Simulcast as very long specials with a single OP/ED. In the case of Owarimonogatari S2, it was two specials, one 90min for the first two arcs and one 65min for the final arc. All these arcs were converted to individual episodes each with their own OP/ED when released on Blu-Ray. Zoku Owarimonogatari was also released in theaters as a movie and split up as episodes on BD, though I don't believe we know exactly how the movie version looked because of the lack of camrips. According to anidb it was 150min compared to MTBB's 144min release. Owarimonogatari S1 had something similar with its first arc, it was an extra long 50min episode that got converted to two episodes on the BDs.

I've personally always preferred the individual episodes over the Special/Movie versions because Monogatari has excellent OPs/EDs that I very rarely skip, though it can be said the original pacing is slightly better on the Special/Movie versions, and I'd imagine that was how it was originally directed as well.
