Thanks for that encode, really special and rare to find DVD mixed scenes with BD.

it's replacing DVD scenes with ugly BD scenes in a Bluray release, mostly in QTEC or bad upscaling BD releases.

But most of the scenes in the RahXephon BD look rather rubbish, it's not just a few here and there.
I'm really curious about what was done here.

OK, that makes sense.
By the way, this scene (Ep. 25) was actually fixed in the BD release. I'm surprised you didn't use it to fix the problem in the original DVD source.

I didn't even know about this scene, it's hard to check everything, on BD, it is simply crop from the bottom and right
