Description

This is a raw Blu-Ray rip of the 2013 US BD release of Akira (1988), dir. Katsuhiro Otomo. This release is mainly for preservation/curiosity purposes.
Included with the film is the original Japanese audio in "supersonic sound", which basically means the track is an unreasonably large file size with very little gain. Also included is the newer 2001 Animaze English dub and the older 1989 Streamline dub. (However the Streamlime dub presented here is in extremely low quality, even the VHS sounds better.)
There are also a multitude of special features covering the creation of the film, its music, and its new dub/restoration.
