@johnbradshaw read the original novels. adaptations cut quite a bit of stuff from them. and the stuff after zoku-owari is translated too. though i still think shaft will adapt all of it eventually.

Could you please tell me the source of your subs for Commie 14-23? Is it straight from TV, or some modified version? There are at least two modified versions of Commie TV I've heard of - the one Marche mentioned, and this one (using RushJob) https://nyaa.si/view/1135897

The 14-23 subs are resampled from Punyted's Commie BD Ver. From skimming in diffchecker that appears to be the only modification made to them. These are IMO the best complete BD subs for these episodes (they have the least modifications from Commie's script), though there are still some minor issues, it's extremely watchable.
