Soooo.....what's up with episode 4....? It's like over 25% of the entire torrent size....
Reinforce release, all 29min episodes are of similar size, Season 2 Part 2 releases are the same when 29mins
Apologies, but that's still not clicking for me. There is a less than 60 second difference between Episode 1 and Episode 4, but literally 3 extra GB of data. Did ReinForce not provide the video for Episode 1? What's the difference?

Well, while I'll still probably never know WHY someone would do this, it has nothing to do with the length of the video, but the bitrate (which I kind of figured in the beginning). For whatever reason, ReinForce encoded the smaller ones at about a 5500kbps rate, but the big one at nearly 20,000kbps bitrate....a little too inconsistent for me, and WAY to big to bother with.
If you look inside the encoding settings provided, Reinforce did not specify a set bitrate; he set a CRF value. This ensures the perceived quality stays the same. Basically the encoder decides depending on the scene which bitrate to use. That's why the files vary in size.
