Why don't you use SubsPlease subtitles? Their font is way better than Erai

Erai = CR untouched,
SubsPlease change some things in there subs.

Erai edits TSing as well & fixes errors that are reported to them, so they're not fully untouched.

I don't see any problem there, it's better if they change the mistakes CR or Funi make, and to make the subs more readable. Erai's subs are a mess with that font and the timing mistakes.

whats even censored in this anime besides swatikas? nudity? sexual acts? or is it just swastikas?

SubsPlease doesn't touch the time or the subtitle layout at Crunchyroll...

And just because a small part of the community likes blinged-out subtitles doesn't mean you have to eat them up. Aren't you happy? Download SubsPlease subtitles and make your own. It's that easy.

Why is it so bad for people to express a preference they have? I can still be grateful for the quick release and the release itself yet prefer SubsPlease over Erai. Even before SubsPlease people preferred HorribleSubs over Erai.

I'll mux them myself with mkvmerge, but I don't know if the timing is going to be better or worse. Did you change the Erai timing or is it the same? And, how much worse is the video quality? In the raw, you're saying that we should wait for the CR-rip. Is this an encode, or just a DL with half as much bitrate as CR?

why erai?

• they has DDL for sub and provided instantly after release
• i like the untouched sub more than the fix sub

Just a heads-up for the ones that want SubsPlease .ass subtitles, you can just go to AnimeTosho and look at the torrents there, they always list attachments like the subs there, mostly all DDL without waiting time.

Yeah, you can get the subs instantly from AnimeTosho, which is what I did to remux it. What about the video quality, though? Is this an encode or just a DL with half the bitrate of CR. I didn't see any swastikas in this one and if it doesn't make a difference to the story, I'd rather grab the SubsPlease release for higher video quality.

Erai doesn't actually touch anything from the Crunchyroll subs, so they pretty much are untouched and will stay like that.
They only change/improve stuff for the Funimation subs hence the v0 & v1 for those subs.
Also they don't rly touch the timing of subs, they only do some TSing & some minor edits for the Funi subs only as they still don't know how to do it (we're still stuck with the horrible timing for Funi subs sadly)
