Arabic dub?

There's no Arab dub for DB? And they only dubbed DBZ up until the Frieza arc, right? Same happened with Kai.

Can you explain it?

@impakt despite being very famous in the arab world it's correct that DBZ is dubbed only till frieza arc and same with Kai am surprised you know about this, DBS also dubbed till universe 6-7 arc and is getting a huge fans around here, arabs prefer the japanese over any arabic dub maybe because it's massively censored, well i can say things are getting better at least in our fandom lately, our team is working hard to deliver the best experience to the arab fans, we have no official release to any japanese translations so we are working to subtitle the whole show in a best possible quality which was lacking for a long time.

Why not just release the subs/dub synced to the Dragon Boxes rather than reencoding the entire thing to lower quality? Seems like an odd choice, especially if you want a high quality release.

There is an Arabic dub for DB , they only dubbed the first 52 episodes and suddenly skipped to Z instead of completing DB .
I shared all of those dubbed episodes in SOM server 2 years ago ,but most of them were not interested ( Most of them are/were native English speakers and only care for their language and for the original Japanese ) . I Also believe it had to do with Jysze who praised, collected and cared for all of the non-English/Japanese dubs sharing , except for my Arabic dubs links . People in there praised and thanked people for their non-English and non- Japanese stuff , but for some reason I was an exception and seen as a mere ungrateful Leecher. that's another story anyway .
I still have those episodes and they are in VHS quality . The dub is terrible and heavy censored . Besides, they took some of the characters names from other dubs . For example , Muten Rushi-sama being translated into Torto , which I believe it's the same name used in the Spanish dub or maybe the French one .

Goodman, I know how that feels. I was part of that community, I liked it, I'd converse with JySzE, and had a good relation with him, but that was about it. Didn't really like the racist/xenophobic comments nor how some thought they were superior to the rest users would post on SoM's Discord channel.

Not to mention, it didn't have anything to do with Dragon Ball.

How did you manage to reduce the files' size that much from iKaos' release? Is the Japanese audio or video in lower quality? Thanks.

مرحبًا أخي ، كنت اتكلم عن حلقات الجزء الأول الذي كان فيها جوكو بعمر صغير
و الجودة ليست جودة دي في دي ، إنما هي مجرد جودة في إتش إس ، يعني شريط فيديو تناظري آنالوق و ليس ديجتال ( رقمي ) مثل الدي في دي و البلو راي
الدبلجات العربيّة لأنميّات سبيس تون كانت تصدر على أشرطة فيديو من شركة إسمها تهامة و كانوا يبيعون أغلب عروض سبيس تون على أشرطة فيديو و دي في دي
و على حد علمي أنّهم أفلسوا و أغلقوا الشركة من حوالي 11 سنة
و حتّى الديفيديّات الي كانوا ينتجونها جودتها ليست جودة دي في دي حقيقيّة و إنمّا كانت للأسف مجرد تحويل مباشر لجودة شريط الفيديو إلى قرص دي في دي و أيضًا توجد شركة إماراتيّة إسمها الوادي و هي أيضًا شركة سيئة كانت تبيع
دي فيديّات بجودة أشرطة الفيديو و أشرطة الفيديو الي أقصدها هي النوع الكبير الي إسمه فـي إتش إس و يوجد نوع أقدم و حجمه أصغر و يسمى بيتا ماكس إن لم تخني الذاكرة و جودته أقل من الشريط الفي إتش إس
بالمناسبة ، كان عندي حلقات دراغون بول زد لكن تخلّصت منها للأسف و الموجود الآن في النت أغلبه يستخدم صورة أحد الإصدارات الأمريكيّة مع تركيب الصوت العربي عليه و للأسف إختاروا أسوأ إصدار أمريكي بدل ترك الفيديو العربي الأصلي و الأفضل ... أمّا دراجون بول الجزء الأول فلا زلت أمتلك كل حلقاته بالشاشة العربيّة الأصليّة التي إستوردها المدبلجون من اليابان و بأبعاد الفيديو الأصليّة أيضًا .. لو محتاجينها عطوني خبر أرفعها لكم بعد فترة

@The-good_Man1994 شكرا على تزويدنا بهذه المعلومات حقيقة كنا نجهلها كوننا غير مهتمين بالدبلجة العربية لكن فكرنا مليًا بالأمر ويبدو بأننا سننشرها بكل الأحوال للمهتمين وكمرجع ممتع لاسترجاع الذكريات نعم نرغب بالحلقات التي تملكها وجهودك لن تضيع باذن الله, حقيقة كنا الفترة الماضية نبحث عن اصدار دي في دي لزد لكن يبدو أن هذا لن يحدث, بالنسبة للجزء الأول فنحن مهتمين راسلنا على الايميل dragonball.arab1@gmail.com
