i mean your other releases where you made changes to the subs, you actually fixed mistakes/typos/etc. and you used commie before without having any issue with "localizations." so what changed?

I didn't change them because I haven't watched them; hence I haven't checked your "localisations."

And to those who disliked the changes, feel free to switch to stock Commie subs. Also, changes were made to only episodes 2,3,6,8,12.

I checked the timing after shifting. If you're talking about Commie subs in my releases, they didn't have "\org" and signs look fine after resampling.

there's definitely a few signs in 3-gatsu that used \org and \frx + \fry which wouldn't look right just scaled to 1080p

of course that's another anime animated at 720p so i guess it doesn't matter

That's not my release. And I didn't add any honorifics. Honorifics/non-honorifics/localisations are subjective, and the viewers will decide what they choose. I do not prefer one over another.

And yes, Commie's localisations are not garbage, but in some instances, they can deviate from the literal translations (which official subs had).
Also, there's one instance where Commie translated "kareshi" as she. I would've edited a lot more if I knew more Japanese and English.

Takoyaki and Ikayaki are dish names. Translating them to octopus balls and grilled squid are not bad. But would you translate French dishes the same way you translate Japanese dishes?

I have nothing against Commie, herkz, you, or anyone else.

In this world, each individual has his/her own opinions/ideals/beliefs. Nothing is right or wrong. It's all about perspectives and how you choose to look at something some ways at undefined times.
