Description

This is a collection of all English Detective Conan subtitles that I could get my hands on. It's the culmination of work I started in February.
With the help of John, remaining gaps in old hardsubbed fansubs without OCRs were filled. All episodes now have at least one softsub of acceptable quality.
These were prepared to be used as a base for an upcoming project, but I'm sharing it with everybody in case it doesn't materialize.
Only text-based subtitles are included (no PGS/VOBSUB) and no fonts are provided, as the only goal was to free the translations.

While this covers most releases, there is some stuff missing (in order of importance):

  • Original subtitles for studio translations provided by TMS to dubbers
  • Ryzan's OCRs of all fansubs for movies 01-16

and probably a few more I don't know about.
If you have OCRs or original scripts for anything mentioned above or something I forgot, do share them.

23 unreleased Baaro/M-L subs were left out, out of respect for Licca.

Some info about how this is laid out:
Folders describe the source of the specific files, whereas group names in parentheses refer to the source of the translation (except for edits of official subs, where the group name is used).
Episode numbers are padded to four digits. When a single episode is split across multiple files, the episode number is followed by a/b/c, etc.
v1's aren't included where a v2 is available. Version is not specified in filenames.

Though, you have omitted the fonts. Many of them are .ass which require fonts to look nice. If not it looks really bad. I have Kaito (non 1412) fonts.

I haven't found a good way to dedupe fonts as many releases will use the same fonts, but some groups may have edited one of them to include special glyphs and didn't specify a unique font name, colliding with the regular version used in other releases.

Took the liberty to fix the subtitles for EPs 1-6,

  1. Its synced to the blurays properly now.
  2. Changed fonts/attachment to Subsplease rips, looks modern to me =D

EPs 7-12

  1. Attachments for all of them. Its random but it works when muxed together, no headaches to match with ass subs especially with random named .ttf files.
