It's an official translation. The swear words are censored (maybe because it's a video taken from YT), so you have to play guess the the word, normally is bitch, fuc**, shi* as*hole. ?? Death Rewind is translated by the same group that did Great King of the Tomb, Dahua Zhi Shaonian You, The Legend of Ancient Soul and Reversal Dimension- The Rise Of AI.

No offense mate, but did you check your upload? It seems all the episodes (8+) that had soft subs, the subtitles were NOT set as default. It would've been an easy fix if the container was MKV, but it's a bitch to do it for MP4. In fact, it was easier to just extract the subs and use them externally rather make them default one by one.

I use Media Player Classic-BE and I got no problem with the subs.
After episode 8 the subs were separate file, but downloading the videos with VideoProc it merges the subs with the video, IDM will not grab the subs and sometimes not even the video, 4K Video Downloader takes forever to download a YT playlist.

Strange. I use MPC-HC and none of the subs were default, even though now I just checked MediaInfo and the default flag is set.

In any case, MP4 is a terrible container for subtitles since it was never meant for that. If you have the option in the future I highly recommend using MKV as a container. If not, then maybe upload the subtitles as separate files in the "Subtitles" folder or something.

I never heard of VideoProc but I use 4k Video Downloader (Pro) all the time, and it's the best I've tried.

Something is wrong with your settings, anyways if you don't like .mp4 files just convert them to .mkv or watch the series in YT. The subs sure won't show up in Windows Media Player and the other player that comes with Windows 10 but they show up in VLC and MPC.

I just installed MPC-HC and it didn't load the subs, but the Black Edition does it. LOL
Tip just create a key shortcut to load the subs, example press S and it will chnage the subtitle track.

I got 4k Video Downloader (Pro) and to download several files at the same it takes forever, most files get stuck at 99%.

I did try to convert the container to MKV, but it didn't take the subs. As I said, in the end I extracted the subs and loaded them externally. Problem "solved".

Yeah, for some reason MPC-HC doesn't load the subs in MP4, but it works fine for all MKVs though. I don't know why. I tried changing the subtitle renderer but it didn't help.

4k Video Downloader (Pro) can be a bit slow at first but it tends to pick speed (for me), but I do set it to only download 1 video a time since I found it faster that way.

Give youtube-dl-gui a try, it's open source. It's a bit basic, right now it uses MP4 by default but I contacted the developer and he's adding a container option (MP4 or MKV) in the next release.

I will stick with IDM and VideoProc. It's not that hard to just press a key to change the subtitle track. ?????

In other news, I just found my cat stash of balls. It was behind my bed, asshole cat likes to think he's Ronaldo or Messi.
