[ParasiteX] Kaifuku Jutsushi No Yarinaoshi - 04 [Uncensored][x264 10bit][1080p]

Description

Source: АТ-X 1080p(i) from moscowgolem, SUBS: Setsugen

Deinterlaced, and upscaled to full 1920x1080 using Topaz Video Enhance, which uses AI deep learning. It also does a really good job at deblocking and denoising without losing any detail.
Frame rate down sampled to the more standard 23.976fps. Which also makes the video smoother as the source raw was just upsampled 24-25fps to 30fps.

I plan on releasing the previous and future episodes as well with the same AI upscaling treatment. But expect it to take atleast 10-24h after raws and subs has been released, as it takes about 6-7 hours to process just one episode with the AI upscaler. And that's even with an RTX 3080 ?

Hope everyone enjoys this versions quality. Bare with my internet connection as it's only 10Mbit/s upload. But i'm gonna get some friends to help seed it later today.

Oh right. forgot to mention that i also removed thet ugly ass logo that pops up at the start and middle of episode, by splicing in clip from the SubsPlease release. I also ran that clip through the AI upscaler to just deblock and denoise.

@sameer
Maybe if we hook up all the worlds RTX 3080s and 3090s it will be able to predict a whole second into the future!

I have 2 questions!
Q1: Does the subtitles include subs for the uncensored (you know what I mean) scenes?
Q2: Why not do x265 10bit encodes?
Hoping to get answers ?

@OneWayGamer
A1: It uses Setsugen's subs which do cover the uncensored parts.
A2: I considered it. But x264 is faster to encode and has better compatibility with media player boxes. I may do a x265 10bit V2 version soon though that uses higher quality settings to take advantage of x265's smaller sizes. I'll probably have my PC churning at it tonight and see how it turns out.

oh DAMN I swear I'm doing the same thing I've started on 24 hours ago to render left for 8 hours now went to do the final about 5k frames with Topaz video enhance A.I. but my laptop is melting with my GTX 1060 and I found out that someone decided to do the same thing with better hardware. Props to you OG.

Well, it's bound to happen with such shitty versions that tear my eyes coming out. Respect man. And nice crack you have there :)

Love like-minded people. UK GMT by the way.

Also, my 3D GF was gonna kill me for having the fans that loud on.

@yuki_leo
I plan on releasing a x265 version in a bit that is about same size, but doesnt have the banding issues and artifacts in dark areas ive noticed in this version. I will be including the Rom&Rem subs in that version as well.
And Ii managed to get the x265 version to about the same total size to boot.

In retrospect i probably should have gone with a higher bitrate for x264. But would have doubled the size.

@ParasiteX

Very nice quality but as others have pointed out the Rom&Rem subs are definitely better & I don't only mean the grammar used but also the type of font the font size & any font customization they have used, it looks & read much better, so ye when you do those x265 encodes definitely use the Rom&Rem subs on it.

Your wishes have been granted. New x265 version up. And it turned out even better than the x264 release. I will upload the previous eps over next couple days as i'm redoing the Video Enhance phase on them. Noticed that some detail got lost when I resaved the processed video in the wrong colorspace, which led to some banding issues.
Have a more streamlined workflow now so should get new eps out decently fast as soon as new raws are out. But expect about 10+ hours after raw release. As it takes me a few min to deinterlace and cut down vid and prep it for Topaz. Then Topaz needs about 5-7 hours to process the video. Then another 1,5-2 hours to encode the video.

I checked out the Ohys-raws a bit as well. And did some tests with those. While I found them a bit cleaner and had less banding issues. The end results was better with moscowgolem's raws, as it had more details preserved. And whatever banding issues persist is very minor and limited to only a few small dark scenes.
