Description
V2: https://slow.pics/c/3apnQcyl
- Less sharp + add a little bit more anti-aliasing
- Dehardsub Wakanim source with Funimation source. Not sure I will continue to dehardsub because I don't have a provider (I buy only this episode to test deharsubbing and this is my 1st time). Moreover, I don't really notice major visual differences, espacially for this no action anime.

Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun - 02
- 1080p AVC 10-bit AAC (CRF 15.5)
- Video source: Wakanim / Funimation
- Audio: Funimation
- English subs: Funimation (resync + little remake timing)
- Subs fr: https://nyaa.si/view/1329141
- Comparaison source/encoding v1: https://slow.pics/c/Y1rdurlH

Pile à l'heure pour ma release ! Merci
Yeah with Horimiya Wakanim+Funimation the difference is mainly in the OP, on chroma, and some weak detail like wood grain. Also Wakanim is undithered there too, so with a clean source like Horimiya it becomes banded to all Hell, so I actually merge them again after dehardsubbing
Or no, not undithered, denoised... It's hard to tell in Horimiya since its clean but I remember motbob talking about that last season
Yes, for example that's why I prefered to use Crunchyroll source instead Wakanim source for SNK S4 because I noticed there are better details in dark zones on CR source.
Anyway, my primary goal is just to make potentially better quality videos than Subsplease/Funimation/Crunchyroll source before BD realeases.
I know my encodings are not perfect, but I am convinced that they are at least better than the Subsplease/etc. source xD
About detail processing like dehadsubbing, it depends to the anime animation.
So for Tomozaki-kun, maybe it is not worth it to dehardsub.
But it depends too to my lazy level and i have to find a provider of Wakanim sources if I continue...
You might not want to encode this again but I found out that your v2 video duration is different.
SubsPlease (with trimming funi intro) video duration: 0:23:39.961
Your v1: 0:23:39.961 (without audio)
Your v2: 0:23:39.919 (without audio)
I knew the audio is longer than the video, that's why the video duration is 0:23:40.010
@Malerious10
Yes, it's OK, because WKN video has 1 less frame than Funimation video.
So I forgot also to retrim the audio because I remux the v2 with the audio from the v1... Or I could just mux with Wakanim audio...
Sorry, but this minor detail seems to me unnecessary to fix xD
