The video sources kinda suck but this is as good as it gets. I might've missed some of the more subtle dimming but if you want to have a seizure that bad just wait for the BD. Gonna tweak the debander next week, adding the decensor crashed VS so I had to reel in the autistic masking. It looks fine for the most part but I couldn't get away with monster smoothing without the 50 mt_expand/inpands... feelsbadman

Does Jennifer Challenger still have a job? She must be sucking off some higher up or something, absolutely ridiculous. Unless there's a TLC I doubt this is even worth watching. The manga is fantranslated even worse for what is worth.

First time I head that name (but then again I don't go looking for the names of official translators)
Why does she have that bad of reputation?

Because she literally doesn't know Japanese. Oregairu (all seasons, but they got a TLC pass on retail fwiw), Hakumei to mikochi, bloom into you, etc. got all ruined by her. Whichever show she translates should hardly be watched until someone TLchecks or entirely rewrites what she does.

Official Translations such as this is one of the reasons why we still have active fansubbing groups...
It's not just to deal with the anime that doesn't have an official sub, it's also to deal with the really f'd up subs that get accepted due to situations such as that described above.

Seriously, there are times where even if you do purchase a legal copy once it's released on disc, you still want to have access to a good fansub .ass file and jerryrig it to use that instead of the included subs.

I guess the real subs were the fansubs we made along the way.

Hopefully in the next 24 hours. I caught up with the manga so I'm gonna try to reference it while I edit it, and maybe see if Rom & Rem is worth referencing too
