My very first encode! Please tell me how I did, if you can. I used the subs from the Moozzi2 release. I tried as best as I could to preserve the grain, even though h265 isn't exactly known for handling grain very well. Personally, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I've always felt this show could've used a smaller torrent size while still retaining quality.

Synopsis:

When 16-year-old Nanako Misonoo enters the prestigious all-girls Seiran Academy, she believes a bright future awaits her. Instead, the unlucky girl finds herself dragged into a web of deceit, misery, and jealousy. On top of that, she is chosen as the newest inductee of the Sorority, an elite group whose members are the envy of the entire school. Having none of the grace, wealth, or talent of the other members, Nanako quickly draws the ire of her jealous classmates—especially the fierce Aya Misaki.
To cope with her increasingly difficult school life, Nanako recalls her days through letters to her former teacher, Takehiko Henmi, whom she affectionately calls "onii-sama" (big brother). yeah i've heard those subs are good but I don't have the web release downloaded to see the differences. maybe someday if someone OCRs them and uploads sub files I might do a V2 of this with those subs instead

where are these? i found one dead torrent here.

they're on VHS tapes. technogirls is an old fansub group that distributed VHS tapes with their subs on them. very different from how fansub groups operate today

hmm yeah.. i am aware of that. thing is it seems someone did rip it, their fansubbed vhs, to avi and shared it via torrent. The Technogirls apparently weren't amused. so other than those vhs that some people might be still having, there was a vhsrip that maybe some archivist stored somewhere. i was hoping for the latter. otherwise it would be nice if someone ripped their fansubbed-vhs copy if possible.

lel so i found those. crc matches, at least the ones i checked just now, to those filed under Technogirls in anidb. don't know if all files will be ok since i have got corrupt files from their server a few times in the past.
