Description
Story summary from J-Novel Club: "Dale is a cool, composed, and highly skilled adventurer who’s made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day on a job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who’s almost wasted away. Unable to just leave her there to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Devil or not, Latina is beyond adorable, and the adventurer soon finds himself head over heels with being a parent. But why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?"
Regarding the raws, they were encoded in 10-bit 1080p HEVC and use FLAC audio. (Please note that we removed the commentary audio tracks from the episodes that had them. If you want those, or the NCED/OP (or other materials) feel free to go to VCB-Studio's torrent.) VCB-Studio's torrent says: "Uchinoko appears to be very short on funding as the image quality is below average. With its native 720p resolution, all kinds of aliasing are visible across the source. We combined descaling and ordinary anti-aliasing to remove the aliasing as much as possible and try to make the line-art looks even."
Fortunately, in addition to both the web novel chapters and the manga chapters being tl/scanlated, there is also a release in English tl'd of all the light novel volumes of this series done by J-Novel Club. All these sources were referred to as well as help in editorial choices, wording and so forth. (The novels past the material covered in the anime get more involved - definitely worth checking out.)
This is the first release of a recently formed fansubbing group that primarily focuses on slowsubbing BD batches. Definite shout outs to all those who have worked on BD subs for this series already, including Astral and Impulse. Special thanks to Zastin in particular for helping to wade thru the various encodes out there. Also, many thanks to the numerous active and inactive fansubbers in various discord channels who cheered on, encouraged and gave helpful and useful feedback in the slow process of beginning to take up the labor of fansubbing in general.

awesome!!

Nice.
Name is kinda weird, but for a first project, this seems pretty good.
Historically Cait-Sidhe (one of the variations of Cat-Sith) is an old reference to cat spirits from the old folklore of the British Isles. Anime-wise it is the name of the cat character from the Aria franchise that befriends the MC.
I actually knew about the mythological reference, but I didn't know about aria, and that's why I thought it was kinda weird. But now it makes much more sense.
Good BD subbers are missing right now, hope to see lots of releases coming from you. Wp.
