Description
Reason for Edited Version
When looking for the uncensored version of Peter Grill, I couldn't initially find one that contained Dual Audio. I'd already started work on this when I noticed [LostYears]'s release. Good on them too. Great to have other sources working on it. After already getting underway, I found that LostYears had spliced in the uncensored scenes, and I was taking a different approach of editing down the the Audio from the HIDIVE rip, and making it fit the AT-X version of the Anime. Similar result, different process. So I just decided to carry on anyway :)
I've taken the Video; Japanese Audio and Subtitles from https://nyaa.si/view/1284428, and combined them with the English audio from https://nyaa.si/view/1271429 - putting them into a single file for convenience, and renamed ready for Plex/Emby/Jellyfin.
NOTE: Source English audio was AAC; converted to WAV for editing, then transcoded to FLAC to keep as much quality from the source as possible
Work Carried Out
- Extracted content from both releases
- Realigned English audio to match Japanese audio timing
- Edited English audio, splicing in missing parts from the Japanese audio
- Normalized the English audio track
- Exported completed English audio track to WAV
- Converted the English audio to FLAC (dont want to lose any more quality from the source AAC)
- Transcoded video to HEVC 10-bit using CPU (no hardware transcoder) @ CRF:16
- Combined the original Japanese audio; new English audio; English subtitles and video track into an MKV

Why reencode the garbage ohys rip when Zastin has a far superior encode out.
@SeaSmoke - TBH, it was what I had at the time. Perhaps I can re-do the encode later. I will likely use the Zastin encode going forward.
Thanks for pointing it out,. I wouldn't have known otherwise ??
Zastin is going to do the blurays so you can use that whenever it's out. Also, reencodes are supposed to be marked as remakes.
Thanks, I think I will. As for the remakes thing - I've had a ton of discussions about this with others. Have a look at my other torrents. Reencodes and remuxes seem to raise some really heated debate. I believe it should be marked as such, but others who have been here longer than me have stated that they shouldn't be as it messes up certain scrapers. I wish I knew, the rules are clear, but imprecise. Mods don't seem to get involved in the conversations, so I'm not sure. ?
Pretty sure mods have said that reencodes = remakes both in the rules page and one of kuchikirukia's uploads
It's small file size played flawlessly thanks ^^,
@jack102000 - glad to hear it! I'll post more as I get them done ?
