Any interest in working on this as a joint project? I was planning on doing Road to Berlin as well.

Actually it does make sense to tag it as Japanese. If your video player lets you set the default subs to JPN then ENG, then you don't have to keep changing them every episode. Tagging them as the same language just makes it more difficult to play your preferred subs automatically.
