Patlabor 2 The Movie (1993) (BDRip 1912x1036p x265 HEVC TrueHD, FLAC 5.1x2)(Dual Audio)[sxales](v2)

The date is 2002, three years after the events of Mobile Police Patlabor: The Movie. The destruction of a United Nations Labor team in south-east Asia begins the build-up to a deadly terrorist plan that threatens to send shock waves throughout Japan's military.

With evidence of an impending military takeover, the scattered members of the original SVD (Special Vehicle Division) must gather to defend the city against danger. To make matters worse, the mastermind behind the operation is none other than Nagumo's former teacher and ex-lover Tsuge. Can Nagumo stay true to her oath to uphold the law in the face of Tsuge's destructive plan for revenge?

Encoded from the US BD. Dual Audio: Japanese (5.1 Dolby TrueHD), English [Bandai] (5.1 FLAC). I looked into including the Manga Entertainment dub but it appears they cut at least 5 minutes from the runtime so it would have required complete reassembly. Since my original release was a re-encode and I recently got my hands on the US BD Box, I thought these were worth a revisit. Probably nothing game changing but it should be nominally better quality. I swapped the US BD's Japanese PCM track fro the HK's Dolby TrueHD track because I find it to be a more flexible format. Includes special features this time.

I will be doing the TV series and 2nd OVA series later, since they were a separate continuity and they will take more time I decided to not to wait around releasing them.

Patlabor continuities (in release order):

• Patlabor [Early Days] > Patlabor the Movie > Patlabor 2 the Movie > WXIII Patlabor the Movie 3 > The Next Generation: Patlabor (Live Action)
• Patlabor On Television > Patlabor [The New Files]
