Yeah they were. The original translation was utter trash. I took Terra's subs since she revised them a bit, and made some heavy edits, so it would actually make logical sense. Why they decided to use machine translation is beyond me.

Dear Mysteria, I must say you fell in my eyes. I hope you feel accoplished shitting on people who did all the work, considering that you used it in its entirety down to all the wordings and the only meaningful correction in the script I found compared to my original version was "you is" to "you are" in Case 1 that I admittedly overlooked (and no, capital letters and commas don't really count as meaningful). At the same time you failed to correct the real mistake that I made in my script of Case 3: where it says "the number of armed clashes within the country has gone down by 10%" it should be "by 90%" instead. That about says it all about your "quality" check.
Oh well, whatever. It certainly doesn't change the fact that between us the one fluent in Japanese enough to translate these movies easily is me, not you, apparently.

I’m only going to respond once, as I don’t have the time to be engaging in foolishness. The grammar was still godawful, and many sentences were still disjointed. And yes, I only re-worded some things, as your wording was perfect in most instances. And no, I did not intend to shit on anyone’s work, including yours for that matter. @DetectiveMasterclass Mika is her name and it's left ambiguous though if I'd hazard a guess then I'd say she's secretly fond of him but not in the love sense. My reasoning: She first appeared in Season 1 if you remember the school case although her hairstyle was different. Mika was one of the students who was implied to have feelings for Kagami (the girl that was murdered). Later she was also shown to be crushing on Yayoi in Season 2. So this means that either she's a lesbian or bisexual. Another thing to consider: Ginoza is 35 years old and Mika is 24 years old. Also Ginoza loves teasing her because he sees his older self in her and wants to "defrost" her so to speak. He's been successful given how she's changed from her first appearance.

does anyone know how to run the subtitles on plex media server? I renamed the files so plex could sort it when it scanned my library the first time, so idk if that was the problem, but I sure as hell would like to actually understand what I'm watching lmao.
