Synopsis:
After an enthusiastic invitation from her friend, Kaede Honjou reluctantly agrees to try New World Online: a very popular VRMMO played by thousands of people across Japan. Naming her in-game character Maple, she sets out on her journey. As a complete novice to such games, she allocates all of her stat points into vitality, desiring to not get hurt. With not a single point in any other stat, Maple has extraordinarily high defense, but she can't move quickly or hit hard.
~I left the audio unaltered since it was only 111MiB. From now on, If the FLAC audio is small and doesn't make much of a difference in size, I'll keep it to reduce artifacts. I re-rimed the OP/ED for the last five episodes and edited the subscript since MapleClub hasn't finished fansubbing this as of yet. I'm on an intermediate level for fansubbing as of now, so I'm not even going to bother attempting to sub this specific show, knowing that I will screw up the subs. Wonder if this project has been permanently dropped off MapleClub's list. That happened to Gun Gale Online, and it never saw the light of day again until I did something about it.

lol. At least I'm being honest. All I did was re-time the OP/ED and edit the font so it would stay the same for the last five. Nothing major. I know mastering that will take years for me. Hope that wasn't taken the wrong way lol.

Hmm, technically nyaa rules state that a reupload of another release with missing/unrelated files added is a remake, but I still haven't figured out if muxing in subs and English audio is considered "adding missing files". Some people do it that way and mark muxes as remakes. Some (CTR, Kametsu, some of SCYs releases) don't.

It's not considered a remake unless you re-encode a video that's already been encoded. If the original source isn't encoded, a raw BDMV for example, then it wouldn't be considered a remake. Adding subs doesn't count as a remake.
this is basically muxing in external subs as-is from the original release for half the files and minor edits in subs for the remaining half before muxing them in. everything in here comes from original release.
CTR, SCY and Kametsu do/did major edits and additions to original release. therefore not a remake.
CTR doesn't do any edits iirc, apart from adding in English audio
CTRs release of Flip Flappers didn't have any edits, and their NGNL release is just commie with eng audio
edits can be at file level or at subtitle or individual stream level. I didn't mean only one situation when mentioning them. he can edit subtitle for fixing, he is capable of doing that.
I want to say only, it is a nicely uploaded torrent. Frontpage, sample pics, description, e.t.c. I would like to see more such torrents from the others too.
I guess that doing own edited subs for 5 episodes is enough to not be a remake if CTRs NGNL is not a remake.

What... Only episodes 1-7 are typeset by MapleClub. Nothing is typeset for episodes 8-12. Just changed the font. Actually making a v2 for this later on, to finish typesetting the rest of this show. Just TS? MapleClub did a phenomenal job. Don’t really need to show pics for that. Not like it’s shoddy or anything. Anyways, here’s two pics. Never known someone to be overtly concerned about this lol. Thought it was just me.
I was only using Muse's releases and the typesets were great (but hardsubbed). Also, for this kind of show, the skill descriptions are kinda important. I was only asking, not sure how it came up "overtly concerned" to you. Anyway.. thanks much for the screenies and the release. downloading now. :)
