Wonderful color loss as always, the dude on the screenshot is so yellow that he could be a character on the simpsons.. Maybe the son of Mr Burns ?

EoE and yourself, know this process since you use it for various purposes, on Vapoursynth : Down-Left is the difference in color between the two footages (Erai/Judas) on a single frame since I can't upload videos here, but it goes like this the whole episode.

You just needed to ask, so here it is :)

@Ingenioussubs : Oh, so you're defending this bad encode by calling my bad encodes ? I don't care about it to be honest, I don't grab Titan's Bride from the distributor so I do the best I can with what I find on the web which isn't necessarily of a good quality, while here it's from a CR release which is supposed to be good even if not perfect (at least for GoH, some others have issues but a color difference like this is an encode issue, not Erai's fault or CR's).

Also, I'm making a constructive comment here, I'm not shit-talking about their encodes on my discord at least.

The issue with colors, if any, seems to be on your end. I don't see any difference difference between the two and the mask isn't catching anything in the colors either.

m3u8 isn't even a video format, that's just a playlist.

Anyway @Minifreeza our encode doesn't look perfect, but it's still a mini encode and looks fine imo. Anyway, we seem to have done better than every other mini group doing it, even though some of those are actually larger than our encodes (EMBER and FFA). idk about you but I see that as a win.

@herkz : As I said, I consider grabbing m3u8 -> mkv as being webrip. Why ? Because even if there's not much change in the video/audio (depending how it's done though), at least the metadata changes & the container changes (multiple .ts to mkv). It's enough for me to consider it being a webrip rather than a webdl. A webdl is strictly a mp4/mkv direct download with intact metadata & unchanged format, at least for me.

The method I use focuses on color differences while Vapoursynth seems to focus on the lines (unsure, ask Light if that's the case) since it's capable to show the differences when there's something on the image that is not on the original, but not the color differences.

As for m3u8, it's a container, the segments being .ts files, and as I stated, as long as there's a conversion, here .ts > .mkv, it's a webrip.

As a final word, because you done a better shit than other's shit doesn't mean the thing is gold out of a sudden.
If the color shades changed that much, it's defo not that good ? Means RGB colors are deteriorated, and I don't know how you can satisfy yourself with that. But knowing #Judas, it's probably due to the excessive filters you use to mask imperfections like acnea a teen would try to mask on Snapchat, or if no filters were used, maybe just incompetence.

Uh, no. That's not how it works. None of the popular streaming sites etc use direct mkv/mp4. Everyone uses hls and for larger sites like Netflix/Amazon they use even more complex DRM which I don't really understand much. Going by your definition, web-dl does not exist, since every single way of downloading anime/movies from streaming sites involves the container/metadata changing. This also applies to CR downloaders and the likes.

Sure, If someone wrong is actually happening then I'll fix it. But you have to tell me what is wrong first, cause my diff mask shows no difference between the colors.
