Can someone recommend a player for X265 encodes?, my computer is old and many of these releases are unwatchable for me.

VLC has issues with 10-bit color. Members of both Judas and Hakata Ramen recommend not using it.
MPC-BE, MPC-HC, PotPlayer, and MPV are all good alternatives that don't have issues with HDR videos.

Thanks to bianpai and VoidsShadow for the recommendations. MPC-BE solved the playback in some videos but the real winner was MPV after some configurations with a conf file helped me greatly. Many thanks to bianpai and VoidsShadows. VLC worked for unrelated playback things like record and screenshots in other encoded videos that are not H265.

mpv is the best but requires some manual config. A couple of good ready-to-go alternatives are Potplayer or MPC-HC
