They went back to use sentai as a base because the quality drastically improved. It's senseless to ask them to go back to the "fansub ones" since I doubt you have any knowledge of Japanese to justify that affirmation.

Well they did say that the translation improved and they are TLCing it anyway.
So what difference does the subs being an OTL or a simpler TLC+edit make to you, as long as you get good subs ?

From my perspective, there is not much difference between our final script quality in eps 1 and 4 (sentai base) and 2 and 3 (starting from scratch).

If you thought our episode 1 was good--and the screenshots floating around of the work we did on that episode are the whole reason this release got so popular, I think--you should have no problem with us going to Sentai base, since episode 1 was also Sentai base.

No, we're using yours because Spyro specifically endorsed you as people who would give us a reliably coherent translation. If you're just going to start leaning on a bad one, then I have no idea why I'm not banging down Spyro's door to make him do every episode.

Spyro "endorsed" us (though I never saw anything that really amounted to an endorsement) based on our work on episode 1. You're ignoring the simple fact that we're going back to a fansubbing process that worked fine for episode 1 and will work even better now that Sentai has a translator that actually knows Japanese.
