The translation is completely fucked. Anime is "translated" as cartoon for some reason (not only is that wrong, but it's like trying to translate karaoke or sushi). The audio talks about Japanese companies but the subtitles say American. I didn't bother watching further. This torrent should straight up be deleted.

It's a localized translation, some1.
I didn't leave in any Japanese terms, they were translated into English.

"Anime" is a loan word and a well-established term. "Localizing" "Japanese" as "American" makes no sense.

Hey, definitely appreciate you taking the time to sub this! The subtitles themselves are really good quality. However, I definitely have to agree with the rest of the commenters. Localization is usually a pretty bad idea (for anime) generally speaking, but especially for a show like this, the localization makes it virtually unwatchable because the whole point is to enjoy the Japanese sense of humor. It's kind of like the US versus UK versions of The Office. If I want to watch a show for a British sense of humor, it's important that I specifically watch the UK one! You know what I mean? If you sub any more of them, that's probably something important to keep in mind. Thank you again for doing it though, beggars definitely can't be choosers and this is the only fansub I've come across thus far!

As far as I'm aware, grishrak, they're unsubbed. Best you'll get is probably the playlist on YouTube linked above.

Was gonna download this but after reading the comments saying the subs have been americanised beyond belief I'm not gonna bother.

don't listen to these idiots, americanize it further pls. these cartoons are not watchable until the conversation is completely changed to a discussion of hot dogs vs. cheeseburgers, something I actually understand as an american. literally do not care what nonsense they're actually saying.
