@Simplistic what was the issue in the original release? Since when I encoded it and saw it, the subs were missing from that point! Was it different when you download the source?

On yours it seems to disappear after 2:30 and never come back, which is weird because on yours the subtitle lines exist they just don't show up. on CTR's the lines from ~2:50 - 3:13 to were completely missing from the ASS file iirc

Dropped a torrent seed for the merged epi 3 with the .ass file https://nyaa.si/view/1286938 Once it has 5 seeders i will stop seeding.

Rather than adding the posted ASS, I replaced the Full Subs track with it, and it seems to fix the issue. It's weird, the subs kinda disappeared after about 3 minutes. I should take a better look at the faulty .ass file itself.

Wish there were more active seeders, I've been trying for days to download this. Stalled at 93% pretty much all day today.
