I'm still curious at what happens on episode 1 that would cause such a large file size
It's a double-length episode. Hence the generally double file size. Fitting all of that plot setup into just 25mins would have been very difficult. Once you see the episode you'll see what I mean. A fantastic setup for a series honestly.
IIRC it was 45 minute long
