Description

Hello y’all !

This is my encode of the movie "Promare" ! MyAnimeList

I've tried to focus the quality rather than file size as always, and I think it went pretty well.

Enjoy, and don't hesitate to give feedbacks in the comment section, or on my Discord (link up there) or HR's Discord (link down there).

@Punisher694 BDRemux is the source origin, x265 is the codec used for this encode, and the following are the audio specs of the source (& encode, as I didn't reencode the audio).

Was hoping this had English audio but I'll rip the track from the US BD and add it. Thanks HR-Minifreeze ? Would you consider doing a dual audio release using both sources with untouched audio in the future? This is a movie that deserves the best audio imo.

@Punisher694 : Well I'm still allowed to tag my releases as I please so as long as it's understandable, it's sufficient to me.
If it annoys you, you can still rename it after downloading it and change BDRemux to whatever you want, no problem ;)

@PS4Trophies : Np, enjoy ! ;) & no, this is my last release on this movie, it's easy enough to add an audio track nowadays so I let those that wish to have it dual, add the audio track themselves.

Japanese is a beautiful language and I prefer it to English Dubs (that aren't that good to me).

Naming can get confusing for those who don't know much about it so if we can make an effort to make nyaa better and respect the basic naming rules it's nice.

Personally I saw the torrent because it appeared in an rss feed for remux's. Except it's not a remux ^^'

No problem. I actually like the English audio they did for promare unlike most shows. Konosuba being another great one.

@Punisher694 : Here, I removed it, it'll still show on the file name though. You could've just said it was a RSS issue and I would've removed it directly though, sounded more like trolling at first..

@PS4Trophies : Haha sorry ^^" hope you'll enjoy it still ! ;)

I'm sure I will :) Regarding the file name issue HR-Minifreeze it can be an issue for some like me that have RSS feeds on NAS torrent clients that are set to download RSS feed matches automatically. Wasted bandwidth and storage, thankfully I only set feeds on specific uploaders that only do releases I like though so no biggy for me but could bother others.

@Punisher694 : Usually, I keep the source tag in the titles "as is" (for movies), since it's still nice to know what it's been encoded from.
But it can be confusing I'll admit it. No problem ;)

«Naming can get confusing for those who don’t know much about it so if we can make an effort to make nyaa better and respect the basic naming rules it’s nice»
I don't know nothing about these naming, and guess what I can assure you that's it's not confusing, because it's the last thing we look.

As someone who doesn't understand any of those complicated thing, I just download any of the 1080p I see, as long as the traduction seems good, because I never saw one bit of difference in any audio-quality-whatever it is setting. A video's a video period.

So please don't use us ''who don’t know much about it'' as an example, it couldn't be more wrong ;)

And no i'm not a newbie. Been downloading stuff here for more than 10 years. I know my stuff, have a MAL of over 600 anime, don't worry, you are not talking to someone who come here once in a while. I come here 3 or 4 time a day. I just don't give a shit, i'm not looking at the deep in the shadow of the scene, or if I can here the far way birds signing in the intro xD Those are just not interesting. 1080p, good trad, that's all we should need. Rest is meaningless.

@a1anne : I agree 100%, but I also get that it could be annoying to those using RSS with specific name rules, getting some torrents that aren't well tagged ^^" so whatever, I changed the naming and I'll try to be careful in the future about it :/

@a1anne you mean translation.

i think he meant to say it gives wrong idea to those not in the know while it potentially confuses those who know what it means and are themselves looking for such releases or it makes their automations grab wrong releases because it is wrongly tagged. now these tags are well defined as to what they are and what they are not so using it acc to convention is desirable. it is strange ofc to see BDRemux in filename when the file itself isn’t.

"Red entries (remake) are torrents that match any of the following:

Reencode of original release.
Remux of another uploader's original release for hardsubbing and/or fixing purposes.
Reupload of original release using non-original file names.
Reupload of original release with missing and/or unrelated additional files."

It's an encode of an original release, I didn't get the Bluray myself and uploaded it (MH93 did), so it's definitely a red to me just like when I encode Erai or HS ^^"

original release is not an encode, it's an untouched mux so yours is technically not a reencode, yours is an encode. hence you shouldn't tag it as Remake. don't worry about not getting the Blu-ray yourself.
