I just welcome your effort, would you redo the [HorribleSubs] Fruits Basket S2 (2019) too? There are somemistranslation or simply not translated According to the original Fruits Basket and other animes "Shisho" is not a name, it is a title: "Master" (in mention of a high trained martial arts teacher). Although, there are a lot of anime where the translator replace L with R, maybe the R means right the cause? :)The worst one of ever, The Testament of Sister New Devil, where once(correct) written as said Naruse Mio, and a few episodes later Manardus Mio, that i cant understand. I highly disagree to not use honorifics, because it holds crucial information and very much annoying "englishizig" reverse name order. Let have some respect for a foreign culture and not cause pain when as you wrote " because I’m a big whiny baby who can’t stand when the names on the screen don’t match what I can clearly hear being said."

I personally don't GAF if things like that aren't translated. I actually enjoy seeing like, Sensei in subs, which is also a title. But whatever.

The thing I learned is that it's very easy to do this yourself, so you can easily make your own version of Fruits Baskets subs if you want.

Here's all you need!

1. Get MKVExtract and gMKVExtractGUI
2. Open gMKVExtractGUI, drag the mkv file onto the open area in it
3. Check the box next to the subtitle track and then click on extract
4. Go in the text editor of your choosing (I use Notepad++) and just search and replace for whatever you want to replace. If you want to replace "Shisho" with "Master" it takes all of a few seconds to replace every instance of that in any given episode.

It gets harder if you want to add in honorifics of course, you'd actually have to watch the episode first and note where all the honorifics are used. Which kind of ruins the point if your intention is to be able to watch it with honorifics, at least the first time.
