Doesn't seem like a fast encode, so why is the guy's jacket looking that terrible on the screenshot ? Don't you mind quality at all ?

@RoiEnma you were complaining about fast encodes in another uploader's too. Stop whining and leave if you don't like the upload.

@gingukkkk : The other one was a fast encode but it didn't look as bad, here it clearly isn't a fast encode but has issues as if it's lacking bitrate.
If they aren't welcoming feedbacks, they shouldn't be posting anything on Nyaa lol..

@fuee : Because the original is already kinda shitty in the visuals, it doesn't need some low encode to make it small size and rise up the issues that were already there, making them even more visible. That's why I'm giving them my feedback so that they can improve that.

@RoiEnma Just use a proper deband filter while watching. It's a weekly episode anyway, can't expect much more from a HS sourced mini encode :)

@RoiEnma Worry not, the BDrip will look better. You should wait for that to enjoy this flawless visal orgy eyecandy which better known as Kami no Tou.

@SeaSmoke : Sure, I'll download the encodes from Judas and use a deband filter to restore the video to somewhere between the original and the low encode that made it that bad.. Nice solution.. Wouldn't it be even better to just adjust the settings on the encoder side so that it doesn't happen again ? Then I wouldn't need to apply any filter ?

@menpe : Probably, hopefully.. But still, there's a big difference between the webrip from CR and the encode that we see here... There should be barely none, even from x264 to compressed x265... Here it's just that the encoder probably wanted the file to be super light, even if the quality sucks..

@RoiEnma I'm not sure why you wouldn't use a deband filter in the first place. No weekly episode is going to be properly debanded, and banding is there in the HS source btw. The encoder could deband it, but it's too much time and effort for a weekly episode which isn't going to look great even if it's filtered. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to find any mini release significantly higher quality than this one, so if you want better quality, filter it yourself.

The dude did it fast so probably not the best, but at least there's way less issues than with this one from Judas that seems to focus file size over quality....

p.s. debanding filters are rather fast these days and would barely slow down the encode

@herkz If he actually decides to filter, he wouldn't just do a deband would he? ToG isn't detail or grain heavy like kaguya is, from what i've seen. I haven't really looked at it very closely so correct me if im wrong.

P.S I'm aware of the fact that deband filters are fast enough to be used real-time, which is why I suggested that he just use it in his video player.

Thank you for feedbacks, I will re-encode this series for the final batch since the anime is worth and there actually are few issues in the weekly releases.

@Judas : Thank you !! This anime is, with Kaguya, one of those that are the most popular this season. Why do low quality encodes on these ones ? Losing visual quality to gain a bit of storage ? I would understand with some other anime that are less popular, but with this one, it's juste a waste.

@MetaKnight & @fuee : I'm just giving my feedback as a viewer. If you do something, do it right, or don't. Here, the encode doesn't do justice to the anime. So I call for some improvements for next time. If they listen, it's cool : more quality. If they don't, I'll go grab another one that is better on a quality level.

@RoiEnma it is just a cartoon not a capital city art gallery exhibition . I personally only watch things for the story and the moving pictures help . The reason for various different encode settings is to give people supermarket type choice , they download the product that best suits their tastes . If YOU want something else there are plenty of other torrents available to you . There is no need to come HERE to complain , Judas does a wonderful job for this community and almost everyone who would download his (their - sometimes it is a team effort) torrents are more than grateful for the effort .

@Father_Snrub : I didn't come here to complain, I came here to give a feedback. He can screw all he wants with anime that are low in terms of popularity, but it'd be nice to not screw the popular ones ! Now, whether he listens or not is up to him, and I respect the supermarket image that you gave, but there are sufficient bad encodes out there to not add one more to the list.

Uploaders are free to deal with their products as they wish (subject to site rules) and downloaders are free to choose whatever they want . IT IS JUST A CARTOON !!!!

@Father_Snrub : It, being a cartoon, doesn't mean it makes it right to screw the quality. Keep repeating yourself as much as you want, no one wants low encodes. I made a FEEDBACK and SUGGESTIONS. They are free to take it, or leave it. & the "cartoon" is already pretty bad in terms of visuals, no need to add some bad encode on top of it.
