each and every download took like weeks to be finished
and no release has 24bit FLAC and dts hd ma 5.1 audio

These are encoded from BDMV so it's supposed to be BDrip

Are you using PotPlayer's own subtitle renderer? That might be the reason otherwise get assfiltermod and use that https://github.com/Blitzker/assfiltermod/releases I use PotPlayer as my main and got no issues with subs including those heavy types.

@faldho no coalgirls has very basic typesetting whereas commie is way better but many prefer coalgirls subs (and imo watch this with commie's subs)

Also thank you a lot for giving the choice on what audio to use most encoders now a days seem to enjoy butchering audio quality to save very little amounts of space.

well just use dts on kizu and zoku owari monogatari since its the only parts that actually has dts audio

Some of them from nyaa (with low seeders) and some of them from a Chinese site

Anybody, watch Nise and Neko (2012) after Bake, and Kizu (2016) only after Owari S1 (2015) if art style matters to you.

Watching how they met before Bake started (Araragi, Hanekawa, Shinobu) is not very enjoyable, even though it presents the Light Novel following Bake. The movie feels too dramatic, unlike the light-hearted series where the characters tease and talk a lot. In the movie there is too much silence.

This is the best complete HEVC release of this series so far. Thanks famalam!

If we do ever get that version 2, could you possibly be convinced to use OPUS for the audio? A version of this collection with OPUS (even with multiple tracks wherever there's 5.1 and 2.0 in the same file) would be even smaller than just keeping an AC3 track, and would be essentially imperceptible. If OPUS were included as one of the options, the batch removers could just offer "keep only OPUS" as one of the options, given the right settings.

If not, can anyone recommend appropriate OPUS bitrates for re-encoding the various tracks? For the 2.0 audio streams I figure 192 is already overkill, but for the 5.1 streams I really have no idea. 300? 500 even? Sooner or Later I'm going to manually extract all the audio from this torrent and try to make my own franken-release and it'd be good to get some advice beforehand.

I'm going to do my own local Opus re-encode. Inspired by [smplstc], I'll use 256k for the stereo tracks and 510 for the 5.1 tracks. (I got those figures from their Code Geass release, I think.)

Unless anyone would suggest differently, of course! It's possible that these values are too bloated, even though it still represents huge savings over the source...

Also, yes, it does seem as if NCOP 01 for Bakemonogatari (i.e. the one for Hitagi Crab) is missing. What a disappointment! Was this missing from the BD sources too or is this just a packaging error here?

Once I'm done with audio transcoding, if I can be reasonably sure that I've sorted any missing/broken files, I might do a release, though I of course can't promise anything.

I just noticed that the Hanamonogatari NCED doesn't contain any audio tracks. Also, for some reason, the Onimonogatari NCED audio is AC3 instead of FLAC, unlike all the other OPED files.

Did you apply any filter encoding this ? i've just checked the first episode of Bakemonogatari and it looked kinda filtered idk maybe it's just my eyes
