This is a release the original 1973 Casshan TV series, otherwise known as Neo Human Casshan, which has video sourced from the US Sentai BDs, along with Japanese audio and PGS English subtitles. For those who have watched later Casshan / Casshern instalments, these subtitles translate Neo Human as "newly built man" and Friender's name is Flender, probably an l or r confusion.

@Marche Better audio and video quality. Plus, the subs in the xPearse release have quite a few OCR errors.

does that mean it has english credits??

@tonikaku Yes, the end of every episode has English translated credits after the next episode preview.

@tonikaku FYI, the ED credits themselves have Japanese text. After the next episode previews are finished, English credits over a black screen play, similar to Discotek.
