This is literally just the Horrible-Subs subs with me swapping in the name “Yoru” for every instance of Bam, and “Lahelu” for every instance of Rachel, because I’m a big whiny baby who can’t stand when the names on the screen don’t match what I can clearly hear being said.

No clue, I was seeing people say both ways, or Lahel and eventually I just made the decision to do the one it more sounded like to me from one specific line read in the first episode.

there's no difference between R and L in japanese and korean, so it's probably supposed to be rachel

If it's supposed to be rachel why don't they make the ch sound, it's not like they don't use the ch sound in other words/names so it shouldn't be hard for them to say or anything

Still seems dumb to me. There was really no reason for Japan to change the names. They should've just voiced it as Bam and Rachel.

Funny that some subset of the fansub fandom cries every time some liberties are taken with the subtitles. Yet this same subset of people have no issue with Japan taking liberties with the names in this show.

Are they going to change every single non-Japanese word from the manhwa, pronounce it in Japanese, and subtitle it with the original non-Japanese word for consistency?
