this is truly one of the iconic masterpieces of Anime it has everything in it and hides and runs from nothing. Strong medicine but it is about life. great timing. This and High School of the Dead are good preparation for the world situation. this is also pre CGI and when studios were still filled with highly skilled third generation staff of all kinds and specialties. This was the first Golden Age, hopefully when people reallze that CGI is a dead end we will have a second one.
