This is a standalone episode, so being released like this makes sense. This is an announcement that I'm doing Season 1 of this show. I got 7-8 episodes done over the last week, so I'm sure I'll be finished by April 6.

If CR's script is no good, and a better script exists somewhere out there, and no other group is doing it, then probably yes. Pretty unlikely to happen.

season 1 and 2 have 2 different official translations and they both suck ass

also sentai's translator for season 2 is still active so i assume she would do season 3

At some point, Ebina freaks out about the BL shit happening right in front of her, gets a nosebleed, and collapses. Hachiman then spouts an internet meme that FFF translates literally as "She's done for. Better do something quick." Commie went the other direction, fully recognizing and embracing the meme-status (and actual meaning) of the line: "Epic fail. Saged, reported, called the cops."

Both renderings are unacceptable for different reasons. The line in question now says something else in my version. My point is that where Commie did stuff that seems outright questionable/wrong, they're generally "trying too hard," which may or may not be better than not trying at all in a given situation. Generally, I try to eradicate all instances of "trying too hard" in the final script (not that I have to do that too often).

It's way better to work with Commie as a base because I can spot all the times where they swung and missed, but I can't spot the times where FFF didn't swing at all. Nor am I skilled enough to take the first swing myself.

not even attempting to translate jokes? sounds like FFF's translator/editor would be a perfect fit for aniplex.
