Tehe, there's already a pretty decent Zoku-Owari release by MTBB. We started off with a 1080p encode but moved down from it. Though I assume Light will be able to give a more detailed answer.

also this is animated at 720p so no point for 1080p

After seeing your name many times in the comments of other releases and discord giving critics or advice I thought you know what you were doing.
Well I couldn't have been more wrong. After seeing this disaster I lost my faith in Nyaa trusted status. And you should't trust a weeb advertising his own product.

Video is bitstarved. There are artifacts in dark scenes.
Subtitles has many inconsistencies and bad translations.

After all that sermon about Encoding and Subtitles you're just talk.

I suggest you remove this garbage and leave the work to the pros. This anime deserves better.

Yup, video could use a lot of improvements because I was extremely lazy with this encode, which I plan on fixing for the batch if that makes you happy. It'd be great if you could actually bring up examples of translation errors though, because just saying there are errors means jack shit.

Man, wonder where the rest of Owari is. hope you guys haven't given up. it would be so, soooo nice to have subtitles for the rest of Owari that DIDN'T suck ass.
