DearS (2004) [rooted edition] - Re-Upload

Reason for re-upload: The torrent file I created for the previous version of this batch was corrupted and not allocating data properly. Removed, recreated, tested and now re-uploaded.

Notes

This has been a labour of love. It's a cheesy ecchi/comedy that I enjoy having a good laugh at. I've been looking for a better quality version for ages, because I only had a webrip that had been transcoded so many times that it was a blurry mess. I went looking for a replacement, and the best quality I could find was care of mottoj (https://nyaa.si/user/mottoj). Taking his original work, I sourced the best English audio I could, recoded it to AAC for compatability, and embedded the subs from multiple releases. Remember, this is based on a DVD rip, and the quality will never be great. I've tried to retain as much detail as humanly possible. Here is a brief overview:

• Completely recoded video from https://nyaa.si/view/795563 (best quality I can find)
• Kept original Japanese FLAC Audio
• Added English AAC Audio
• Fixed a couple of chapters
• Realigned audio
• Realigned Subtitles
• Added Styled Subtitles
• Embedded Russian Subtitles from the external zip file in original rip
• Renamed Subtitles to make them much easier to distinguish
• Disabled Subtitles by default (as there is no "Signs & Songs" version I can find to embed)
• Set the default Audio to English
• 10-bit HEVC/h.265 Video
• CPU transcoded, not GPU/Hardware
• Included example transcoding log
• Renamed for Plex/Emby/Kodi and renaming scripts/apps

Taking into account the DVD quality input video, I think the result is fairly good. Compared to the original I had, it is head and shoulders better.
