Did they really skip to dubbing this, and didn't bother with season 2 or the specials? What the heck? Or did I miss them or something...?

^Thinking the same thing. I've been waiting for the dub of Season 2 because it was so perfect for the first series.

Oh wow, this dub is terrible. No one can beat Jerry Jewell's Saiki deadpan, if they weren't gonna get him back for this, they should have just left it as is. Especially since season 2 and the conclusion special aren't dubbed
