Get tyerggh's release; not horizontally overcropped, more accurate aspect ratio, includes OP/ED, less size with barely noticable image/audio quality loss.

About overcropping. The reason it's cropped is that because on the side, you have a duplicate column of pixels. You can easily tell on the second picture in your comparison. Once you notice that, it's super annoying.
Why remove opening and ending song from each episode??
Just use proper software and all you'll lack are the credits you can't read.

Probably not, but something better will arrive in the not so distant future. ;0
OP/ED removed is for people living in 2008 with 200GB harddrives.
Jellyfin and Plex are "proper software." Some people like to watch elsewhere from their desk.
Super late, but technically if you append each episode with -part2 and duplicate the OP and ED until there are 26 of it, change them all to have the episodes' filenames appended with -part1 and -part3, you can get them to work on Plex. But that's so much extra work to correct some bullshit that shouldn't have been done in the first place.
