This is something I've been putting together to share here exclusively on Nyaa, this is the 10-Disc DVD release of Kimba the White Lion with the original English dub by NBC. I've also included the film, which features the Japanese audio, English dub and English subs. Plus, bundled extras to go along with it that I found neat to include.

I ordered the 10-Disc DVD set and both times it arrived nearly all broken and ripped so I decided to give up on it (order, return, get the money back.. it's just not worth the hassle), this is a much better package overall for me (digitally, anyway). I would say support the official release, but don't. The distributor (Right Stuf) uses the cheapest plastic fat cases out there and they'll easily break. However, if they decide to get their act together and use durable cases or even release the series remastered on Blu-ray then do support them!

The 10-Disc release has no extras just the episodes themselves while the "Ultra Edition" had a 11th disc with the extras (found most of them available as DVDRip online). So, not only did they cut down the costs on the packaging, but also one disc less. Sigh. It's just disappointing, to be honest.

Finally a new rip, I watched this a child growing up. I even met the late Billie Lou Watts, the voice of Kimba AND Astroboy too! . TRS has been doing poor packaging for years.. Sorry you experienced it.
