Hello, everyone. I have just finished my DBZ Recut (Japanese version). It started as a personal project but I figured some people might want it. I will not directly share what I've uploaded because I am not doing this for any monetary reasons, and it's illegal, I would assume. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but, as I said, I'm already very happy with the overall result (given that it was mostly for personal use), since a rough estimation says I have cut out about 25 hours and 27 minutes worth of filler footage.
I tried not to merge too many episodes, as it kept messing up the subtitles, so there are a few episodes with 2-4 minutes of canon footage.
Disclaimer: the files are in .mkv format. Therefore, simple media players like Windows Media Player won't play them properly. Please use another media player like GOM Player.
Note: the files are dual audio, but I have not tested how the English dub fares at all. Watch at your own risk.
Note 2: some episodes are stated to be 40+ minutes long. That's a visual bug and it does not affect the file size, nor the episode itself in any way, shape or form. I am not a pro video editor, after all.
Note 3: the audio is actually the Original Broadcast Japanese Audio meaning it's a much higher quality audio stream than any DBZ Japanese release. For more details on that, please check AnimeAjay's YouTube video about it, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTLBEzJQU9M

I hate fillers, too but if you're not the person who wrote the original manga or someone who is on the story board of the anime - you cannot possibly know what is "filler" and what is not. Or rather, what filler is there just because they had to add more content and what filler is there because it's important for the story. The story-telling is not about just focusing on important events, that's just not how it works.
Anyway, if you consider watching this, ask yourself the following, "If I'm not ready to watch an anime with all of its fillers, do I want to watch it at all?"
I'm always weirded out by all of the "120 fps" anime, by all of the "fancuts" and etc.. If you have such a strong urge to change something - go and make your own anime. All you're doing now is being a monkey with a bucket of paint that runs around in a museum. Sorry for being rude but that's just how it is. You need to learn how to appreciate anime and forget the "I own it" mentality. You don't own it, you can appreciate it or you can not appreciate it - that's all you can do. And this release? It's just you doodling on someone's art and delude yourself thinking it's "fixed". Have fun, I guess.

You make a good point, but this is just something that a fan made for fun. No harm no foul.
A closer version to the manga is Kai, but it only covers up until the Cell arc. There is Kai TFC for the Majin Boo arc although that didn't get rid of too much filler to make it smaller.
Plus, the green tint and tacky score didn't help.

Agreed, they're fine. Not sure why fan upscales aren't allowed on Nyaa as they sometimes look better than official upscaled releases.
Selecta Visión's upscaled Dragon Ball Blu-ray release is a huge disappointment as they promised a ton and failed on nearly everything. It features the Valencian dub so that's something.
