i tried asking why this guy upscales the chroma before but he didn't answer so good luck

Upscaling the chroma is the least of the issues wrong with encoding an SD animated show in 1080p that even still looks like garbage at 720p. There is a reason Scy only encoded it at 540p.

ikr that everything he's doing is (kinda) "wrong", but at least he was messing with 720p+ sources.
reading those things on baccano made me laugh from the bottom of my heart :v

We're reaching peak memecoding boys. Soon we'll be getting qtec remasters with sweet, sweet 1080p chroma. I just hope this man doesn't ascend to a higher plane of existence before he has a chance to share it.

the true meme to me is some of uqws memecodes are still better quality than all the uploads to date, like phi brain for instance

MTBB's release had better subtitles, why not use those.
