Description
There wasn't a complete 1080p BD release of Hidamari Sketch to my liking so I decided to create one. The 1080p sources are mostly from DHD but they had PGS subs which I hate. So I muxed in the subs from other groups and created a uniform styling across all of them. Weirdly enough some of the subs needed to be retimed since DHD's BD had the OP and ED play in the middle of the episode occasionally. Weird but whatever. I also included a small file on the correct watch order.

But are they JPBD or USBD?
This is awesome! I've been avoiding this anime for the longest time cos I couldn't be arsed to find all the seasons. Thanks to you, I'd finally be able to get this off my backlog. Arigatou

Considering this is DHD those are USBD, but FYI since it seems you dont know it considering this question, USBD and JPBD are same region, unlike DVD that had different regions form US and JP, BD's dont. And i would still need to see any USBD having lower quality than JPBD, something that was common with US DVD. I still dont know why ppl use R1 and R2 for BD's when BD region codes are A, B and C.
I prefer to have only the original Japanese versions. The US completely localizes the openings and endings which I strongly detest. I'm after the original unedited/unaltered versions.
Also, I never said R1 or R2. I said US or JP.
@futagen wdym the us localizes the openings and endings lol. If you mean the subtitles are localized on the usbd, this release doesn't use the usbd subtitles

How is the quality of the first shows? I assume those are upscales?
So I have compared several releases of Hidamari Sketch x 365 and it seems the [SpoonSubs][Reinforce] release is better than the one included here. Despite that one being 720p, it is much crisper and retains somewhat more details. Compared to the DVDs, this release here has washed out colours too.
I recommend getting the [SpoonSubs][Reinforce] release instead, which can be found here on nyaa. Not to mention, it is slightly smaller in file size.

Why are some of the subs in x Honeycomb so HUUUUGE?
some of the subs (most notably in x ☆☆☆) are missing, and the subtitle styling is borderline unreadable on account of the muxing error with the fonts. I don't recommend downloading this.

Agreed with Joyce-stick, I much recommend Yanix's batch with Hi10's releases instead if you don't mind some releases being 720P

Not only the font thing, but I started noticing a bit of blurriness and compared them to the 720p ones and yeah, I'm pretty sure these are upscales, lol.
Whether or not that was done by the uploader or the company that released the blu-ray I don't know, but either way, yah, just use the other upload.
